I was up with Caleb early this morning. In his room are three hanging star lantern lights. As I was holding him, putting him back to sleep, God said, I want to tell you something about the stars. So, I put the baby back to sleep and got back in bed and asked God about the stars.He showed me an American flag flying on a flagpole waving and popping in the wind. Each time it would pop some of the stars would fall off of the flag. As we know, the stars on our flag represent the states. Then He showed me a peacock with its plumage in full display. Ahhh.... Pride.
Now, let me back it up a little bit. Towards the end of the summer, my friend, John Zintgraff, gave a word that: "There is a move of God coming. But it is not coming to the cities, towns and nations. It is coming to YOU! So then YOU can move among your cities, towns and nations." (Which we are seeing take place now!)
God said that the counter attack to this move that John told us was coming is pride and that it is matching Gods strategy. The enemy is going to try to attack YOU with pride so that it will sweep through your home, your church, your cities, towns, states, state leaders and eventually the nation. The stars were falling off because they were being taken down by pride.
Then He brought this scripture to mind.
"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 6:42
